Welcome to Friends of Welcoming!

Friends of Welcoming is an online platform created by Welcoming America to support you in making our country a more welcoming place–starting with YOUR neighborhood!

You can play as yourself, with a team, or with your organization. You earn points for doing welcoming activities, such as signing a Welcoming Pledge or organizing a potluck bringing immigrants and non-immigrants together. You will also get easy points just for signing up, watching video clips, and sharing this site with your friends!

Each month, you can win fabulous prizes with your points, such as $100 to a nonprofit of your choosing, prize packs full of goodies, and more. Every year, the top points earning individuals and teams will compete for the grand prize of $2500 to the charity of their choice. Beyond prizes, Friends of Welcoming will also be a place for you to connect with people all over the country who are working to make our country welcoming to all.

Welcoming America is a national organization working to make our country welcoming to all, including immigrants. Many organizations exist to do the important work of helping immigrants adjust to life in the United States–Welcoming America focuses on helping people who were born in this country understand and appreciate their new neighbors. Welcoming America helps neighbors build relationships based on trust and understanding through local leadership development, community events that bring people together, and media such as billboards, radio advertisements, and TV public service announcements.
